As a member of IS you agree to follow these rules, failure to do so may result in loss of access to parts of or all of the site. Staff have the final say on whether something counts as a violation of these rules or not.

Illegal and Banned Content

• Do not post, link to or request anything illegal. This includes but is not limited to child porn (and child models) and warez.
  
• Do not post, link to or request non-anime pornography or non-anime shock/gore.
  
• Do not post, link to or request torrents/downloads unless you own the copyright or the copyright holder has authorized it.
  
• Do not make posts/threads that promote illegal activities.
  
• No hacking/raiding and no posts/threads asking for help with or supporting such activities
  
• Do not post files or link to sites that contain viruses.

Respect Other Members

• All members are equals and should be treated as equals.
  
• Do not flame, flame-bait, harass, stalk or threaten other members.
  
• Do not make troll posts or topics.
  
• Do not post any racist/hate comments.

Spamming and Advertising

• Do not post advertisements, referral links or money making links.
  
• Do not make off-topic or "spammy" posts outside of the off-topic forum.
  
• Do not make pointless posts such as one liners, image only posts and "I agree." type posts.

Posting Guidelines and Etiquette

• Posts outside of the foreign language forums should be written in understandable and readable English.
  
• Post threads in the most appropriate forum and make sure that an active thread on the topic doesn't already exist.
  
• In worksafe sections always tag adult threads and images as NSFW, adult images should also be put in spoiler tags.
  
• Always post spoilers in spoiler tags no matter how well known they may be.
  
• Do not overuse or abuse BBCode tags such as img, spoiler, media, size, etc.

Accounts and Privacy

• Do not register more than one account.
  
• Do not give your login information to others or ask for other members' login information.
  
• Do not impersonate other usergroups or members.
  
• Do not post your own or others' personal information, this includes but is not limited to names, phone numbers and addresses.

Signatures, Avatars and Profiles.

• All combined images in your signature must fit within an area 550 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall and under 200KB.
  
• Signatures, avatars and profiles are considered a worksafe area.
  
• All of the forum rules apply to signatures, avatars and profiles.

And last but not least, use common sense. These rules try to cover as much as possible, but there are still rare cases where something not written in the rules could lead to a ban. If you're unsure whether something would be allowed or not then PM a staff member.
